Speiderbesøk!

De siste to ukene har et dusin speidere vært i aksjon i Ny-Ålesund. De har jobbet 12 timers dager – hardt, trutt og effektivt. Igjen står nymalte bygninger, rene strender og mye velgjort arbeid. En utrolig innsats! De voksne speiderne får dekt reise og opphold fra Kings Bay. Til gjengjeld gjør de en fantastisk innsats med vedlikehold og annet arbeid i byen. Takk for hjelpa og velkommen tilbake!

Hard working visitors
The last two weeks 12 scouts have been doing a "makeover" in Ny-Ålesund. The efficiency of the group was incredible. They have painted many houses, cleaned up beaches and done a marvelous job. Every year a group of grown up scouts come to Ny-Ålesund to work. Kings Bay is paying their trip and accommodation. And the scouts work 12 hours a day. An amazing group – and we hope they had time and energy to enjoy the stay despite all the work!
