A flow of love

A flow of love
The crazy tragedy in Norway last week has led to a flow of love.
The pooring rain was hiding our tears. But sometimes it is good to cry for other peoples grief...

A german newspaper article says: "Even in their deepest sorrow the Norwegians don't get hysterical. They resist the hate. It is amazing to see how politicians and the whole country reacts. They are sad to the deepest thread of their souls. They cry in dignity. But nobody swears to take revenge.… Instead they want even more humanity and democracy. That is one of the most remarkable strengths of that little country."
I am proud that the people in Norway react this way. Rescue staff, police, prime minister, politicians, cultural life and media (most of the time) has reacted in a respectful way. The massacre was a shock to all of us. But despite the tragedy it is a relief that this act was done by a Norwegian loonatic. If it was done by a foreign terrorist group, I am afriad it would have caused more fear and hatred. It is impossible to protect ourselves 100% against one person wanting to spread horror. The murder sadly succeeded in his terrifying plan. But despite 91 innocent dead people, the terrorist failed in all other aims. Instead of hatred, his actions led to a flow of love. The support between people and to the ones that lost their loved one is massiv. The whole nation is mourning. But we will not give up. This terrible act will led us to fight even more for democracity and peace. The killer wanted was to write himself into history. We should therefore forget his name. You should rather keep the memories of the dead ones and care for the ones left behind. My deepest thoughts goes to the ones who lost a mother, a daughter, a brother or a friend. And also to the mother of the murder, who must be suffering so much."If one man can spread so much hate, - imagine how much love we can create when we all stand together."
