Siste båttur te "hi sida"!?
Fredag kveld la vi avgårde. Minus 8,9 grader, stjerneklart og med nordlys i emning. Det ble en fantastisk tur med anrking i mørket, vandring i snøen og soveposenatt på taket. Lørdag opprant med snø og sno. Skitur te Olssontoppen måtte vike for en liten tur som plutselig ble lang. Inn til Blomstrandbreen, opp på isen, videre opp fjellet og tilbake via noen litt for bratte fjelltopper. En fott dag i lyseblått, hvitt og grått...
Last boattrip!
Friday we spotted sun on Olssontoppen. Let's go there! After work we speedpacked and left Ny-Ålesund in minus 8,9 degrees, dawn and with an arguing boat engine. We managed to anchor up by Ragnahytta and soon we were walking in the snow looking at stars and Aurora over the mountains. Next morning I woke up due heavy winds on the roof were I was sleeping. Not the best conditions for skiing on the glacier. But we enjoyed a walk to Blomstrandsbreen and back via the mountain ridges. In the end quite a lot longer than walking to Olssontoppen. And the boat was still "alive" when we returned :-)
