Sailboat invation
We have never seen as many sailboats at Svalbard as this year! In July there were sometimes five new boats every day. Most of the sailors are nice people, and I wish I had more time to talk with them! But unfortunately there are also some "not so nice" ones. The bottom photos shoves an exclusive boat, that did not follow our rules of behaviour. He anchored up in our no anchoring zone, too close to the pipe lines and far too close to the pier. The 900 pax cruise ship we were expecting could not manouver safely into the pier. And Linda "Harbor master of the day" had to go out and chase the sailboat away. Nice boat, but I don't think I want to be rich in that kind of way....
