Etter arbeidssom ferieuke + maraton vaktuke var det fantastisk med litt mer ro. I går fikk jeg endelig en arbeidsdag kortere enn 10 timer OG tid til kaffepause! Glede! Vel hjemme ble 3 timers søvn etterfulgt av litt mere soving. Og så rett til sengs! Hektiske dager uten pauser tar på. Man blir "elektrisk" og glemmer hvordan man skal hvile! Nå har isforholdene i Isfjorden har bedret seg, så nå regner vi med mer normale tilstander...

After a busy week at work, it was great to be back to normal yesterday. Finally a working day lasting less than 10 hours - AND time for a coffe break! You become a bit "electric" after running around day and night for more than a week. But now the ice conditions in Isfjorden have improved and the boat traffic can proceed to Longyearbyen. After work yesterday I slept all evening - and all night! Mmmm ;-) Back to "living"!
